health care - hot button topic!
Whether you agree with this YouTube or not, health care and the insurance companies will always play politics. But where does the little guy fit in!
In the US, medical Costs today have skyrocketed, as an alternative to the high cost health insurance plan is Ameriplan Total Health Plus®. Ameriplan is not an insurance company or a health organization. Ameriplan works with doctors and other health care providers to offer a discounted service rate to its members.
Ameriplan affordable benefits offering a network of physicians, chiropractors, discount dental, and other ancillary care practitioners.
And although the benefits provided by Ameriplan is not a quick fix for the ailing health care insurance quagmire we are in globally, choice is a freedom we treasure.
[Any opinions portrayed on this posting are meant to provoke thought, and are not the views of Ameriplan, or the writer]

Cigar Bars are making a come back!

The 850 Cigar Bar & Grill in San Francisco, California
"A hip international crowd gathers at this outstanding spot on Montgomery Street in the city’s North Beach district to enjoy live music, a solid food and drink menu, and a well-stoked humidor featuring a number of premium and hand-rolled cigars from the likes of Arturo Fuente and Romeo y Julieta.
850 Cigar Bar & Grill’s location within the country’s least-friendly state for smokers means lighting up is restricted to the outdoor lounge."

R.Kelly, Real Talk - Cognac and a Cigar!

R. Kelly just can’t stop his genius from flowing out of his mouth. Set to music, it almost sounds like a sexy slow jam and not a fight with his woman over the phone. But hey, that’s just Real Talk for you, Kelly’s latest internet sensation. Just a couple of cameras, a posse, some cigars , and R talking about “just how real sh*t gets when you argue with your girl.” It’s all sorts of awesome mixed in with a whole lotta F bombs.
So sensitive ears, be warned.

JAY Z’S 40/40 CLUB TO OPEN IN LAS VEGAS DECEMBER 30, 2007!
New York - Business mogul Jay-Z is adding a third location of his renowned nightclub with the new $20 million 40/40 Club in Las Vegas. The 24,000 square foot ultra sports bar and lounge is expected to open on December 30, 2007 with a gala grand opening party, it was announced by owners Juan Perez and Jay-Z. The newest 40/40 Club will be located in The Palazzo, a 643-foot, 53-story extension of The Venetian and Sands Expo complex on the famed Las Vegas Strip, which will be opening on the same day.
The flagship 40/40 Club opened June 18, 2003 and has become New York’s favorite and most popular sports bar and lounge and host to many of the world’s biggest celebrities and athletes. The Club’s name refers to one of baseball’s most prestigious achievements. Cigars, Celebs got 'em, and they smoke 'em
Cigar-chomping has made a comeback, and younger celebrities — including female stars — and hip-hoppers are leading the way.
Jay-Z's Manhattan sports club, 40/40, opened last month with a cigar room. A cigar "gives you an air of invincibility," the rapper says. "You feel unstoppable. It's the guy's version of stopping to smell the roses."
Jay-Z, who says he has smoked cigars "on and off since 1996," is partial to Zino Platinums, which come in large silver matchboxes of three cigars for $87 to $117. They have a cachet among the hip-hop crowd, he says. "You got your big cigar going, a nice glass of cognac, you feel like you've made it."
Zino Platinum cigars — considered the "Cristal of cigars" its, co-creator Peter Arnell, provided 400 Zinos for the wedding of his pal, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani.
Cigars have always been classic accouterments; George Burns and Milton Berle were among the entertainment world's cigar-toting statesmen. Modern-day smokers include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bill Cosby, Jack Nicholson, Matt Dillon, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Tom Selleck, Ahmad Rashad, Rush Limbaugh, Dan Rather and Linda Evangelista.
"The cigar has always been looked upon as a symbol of success, achievement and celebration," says Norman Sharp, president of the Cigar Association of America.
In the past, cigars were the domain of older guys sitting in "a paneled smoky room," Stoute says. These days, fine smokes have become a fashionable accessory for out-and-about celebs. "There is a whole new generation that wants to enjoy their success."

Jay-Z the "American Gangster"?
"American Gangster," which opened in theaters Nov. 2, chronicles the rise and fall of notorious Harlem drug lord Frank Lucas. Jay-Z said watching the film made him reflect on his own drug-slinging days and the dangers of that lifestyle.
Jay-Z stressed that "American Gangster," released Nov. 6, is an album with a story from beginning to end - something he says too many rap discs lack.
"I'm not knocking the way anybody makes (their music)," he said, "(but) I think a body of work is what the game needs right now."
"VH1 Storytellers: Jay-Z: Life of an American Gangster" debuts Nov. 8 on VH1.
